🚀 Overview

Wordscape ERP is a commercial enterprise resource planning system designed to support both customer-facing and administrative workflows. As part of the development team, I contributed to building separate frontend and backend modules for customers and admins, enabling secure role-based access, scalable operations, and streamlined business processes. The system is used in production to manage users, inventory, orders, and reporting in a real-world business environment.

✨ Key Features

  • Role-Based Access Control: Separate admin and customer interfaces with appropriate permissions.
  • Admin Dashboard: Manage users, inventory, reports, and system configurations.
  • Customer Portal: View orders, profiles, and personalized business data.
  • Backend APIs: Modular REST APIs supporting frontend applications independently.
  • Scalable Architecture: Separation of concerns enables parallel development and future growth.

💡 Technical Challenges

  • Challenge: Coordinating multiple frontend and backend codebases in a professional team environment.
Solution: Designed clear API contracts and reusable services for consistency and maintainability.

  • Challenge: Maintaining secure, role-based access and data separation for different user types.
Solution: Implemented authentication and authorization layers across APIs.

  • Challenge: Integrating business logic across multiple modules without duplication.
Solution: Centralized shared utilities and validation logic to maintain modularity.
